Install and Connect
Get SitePx up and running in your Shopify store in under five minutes.
Install from the Shopify App Store
Open the Shopify App Store
Go to the Shopify App Store from your browser, or navigate to Apps in your Shopify admin and click Shopify App Store.
Search for SitePx
Type SitePx in the search bar and select the app from the results.
Click Install
On the SitePx listing page, click Install. You will be redirected to your Shopify admin.
Approve the required permissions
Review the permissions SitePx needs and click Install app to confirm. SitePx will open automatically once installation is complete.
Required permissions
During installation, SitePx requests the following access:
- Read/write access to products — to optimise product titles, descriptions, meta tags, and images
- Read/write access to blogs and articles — to optimise blog content and meta data
- Read/write access to pages — to audit and update page SEO
- Read/write access to online store themes — to inject schema markup (JSON-LD) into your theme
- Read access to orders — used for merchant listing schema data
All permissions are requested up front during installation. SitePx does not request additional scopes later.
First-run checklist
Once SitePx is installed, work through these steps to get the most out of the app:
- Run an SEO audit to get your baseline score and understand where your store stands
- Review the Dashboard for your priority issues, ranked by severity and potential impact
- Connect Google Search Console (optional but recommended) to bring real search performance data into SitePx
- Set up your Brand Voice in Settings so that AI-generated content matches your store's tone
- Review schema configuration to ensure structured data is set up correctly for your products and pages
Finding your way around
SitePx lives inside your Shopify admin. Here is a quick overview of the main navigation areas:
- Dashboard — Your SEO command centre with health scores, priority issues, and recent activity
- SEO Audit — Content, technical, performance, and accessibility audit tabs
- Products — Product-level SEO optimisation for titles, descriptions, meta tags, and images
- Blogs — Blog content optimisation, including headings, keywords, and internal linking
- Images — Image library with optimisation tools for alt text, file size, and formats
- Jobs — Background task tracking for audits, bulk operations, and content generation
- Templates — Content templates and brand voice configuration
- Schema — Structured data configuration for each resource type
- Settings — Billing, Google Search Console connection, and app preferences
- Sitemap Controls — Manage which resources appear in your sitemaps
